People liked that Kanye was going back to its so-called roots (track : BURN). what Gori really found interesting was the new content and the exceptionnal quality of instrumentals.

VULTURES is exceptional in this sense and breathtaking. While everybody seems to be nostalgic of boom bap and G funk, why not embrace the new possibilities thus opened ?

Jesus seems to have disappeared from Kanye’s art. That’s for the superficial only. We all know that true faith can go in occultation, as John the Baptist said : “He must become greater; I must become less.” John 3:30. Kanye speaks less of God, in order to let God speak through his mundane words.
