I offer professional translation services to expatriates living in France.

As a translator, I mostly work with English and French.
Coming from a language University background, I have started out with small administrative forms and tasks, up to being able to provide help with any aspect of French administration and business.

Real estate

On a regular basis I work with the real estate industry, providing assistance to anglophones wiling to purchase or look for properties from French speaking sellers. The other way around also being true.

From the initial phone call to the seller, up to the sales meeting at the solicitors’ , I provide expert translation of either spoken or written French or English, as well as legal explanation on specific details.

Renovation

I also offer to bargain and negotiate on construction materials and renovation prices, as well as finding local tradespeople to pursue real estate projects in France. First we build a list together, as materials are not the same in all countries, then I work with suppliers to provide more affordable prices.

Visas

Visa and work permits are also another important part of the job, as it can be stressful to handle all alone, I make sure to provide assistance and explanation on every step of the procedure and required documents.
The French government has an official website to conduct most of the procedures and I can help you navigate and understand it.

Disputes

Last but not least, in case of dispute or disagreement with vendors or professionals, I am here to provide clear and neutral speech translation in real-time to make sure both parties understand each other. Note that I cannot go to court hearings, as it implies specific career choices.
